Anurag Kashyap reveals if he is involved in planning daughter Aaliyah Kashyap’s wedding with Shane Gregoire | Hindi Movie News

Anurag Kashayp’s daughter Aaliyah Kashyap got engaged to her long-time boyfriend Shane Gregoire earlier in May 2023. A few days ago, Aaliyah and Shane hosted their engagement party which was attended by Anurag and several Bollywood star kids. While the filmmaker had expressed his happiness that his daughter invited him to celebrate the occasion, Anurag has now opened up about his involvement in planning Aaliyah’s wedding.

When Anurag was asked about Aaliyah’s engagement, he told India Today that the couple for engaged on their own when he was at Cannes. Shane proposed to Aaliyah and she accepted. He added that their engagement party was largely a kids’ affair and he was happy to be invited.
Talking about Aaliyah’s wedding, Anurag said that his daughter and her fiancee will decide on a date and let him know. He laughed as he further added that his job is to work harder and finally deliver a box office hit to throw a grand wedding.

Several Bollywood celebs like Suhana Khan, Alay F, Agastya Nanda, Anurag Kashyap’s ex-wife Kalki Koechlin, Palak Tiwari, and Ibrahim Ali Khan among others marked their presence at Aaliyah and Shane’s engagement party on August 4.
The newly engaged couple wore white and silver ensembles for the ceremony. While Aaliyah wore a white coloured lehenga, Shane opted for a kurta pajama set. They both complemented each other with their traditional attire.
A few months ago, Aaliyah had informed her fans about her engagement through her Instagram post. “soooooo THIS HAPPENED!!!!! to my best friend, my partner, my soulmate and now my FIANCE! you are the love of my life. thank you for showing me what real & unconditional love feels like. saying yes to you was the easiest thing I’ve ever done & I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you, my love. I love you forever & always Fiance (still can’t believe I get to call you that AAHHHH),” she wrote in her post.
