Twinkle Khanna once revealed that Aamir Khan had once nearly slapped her on the sets of their film, ‘Mela’ and the reason will leave you in splits.

During a book launch in 2015, Twinkle revealed that Aamir once reprimanded her on the set for not being attentive. He asked her why she is not focusing on her work. To which Twinkle replied that she was thinking about Akshay Kumar. Listening to this, Aamir almost slapped her.

Karan Johar, who was also present at the event, asked Aamir about his thoughts about Twinkle as an actor. He said, “I thought she was fantastic. All of us have different abilities, I mean that. And Twinkle is really talented in some of the most amazing activities like insulting people. She is an expert in insulting people. All through my life, since I have known her, she has just constantly insulted me.”

Twinkle, who made her film debut with ‘Barsaat’ in 1995, went on to feature in films such as ‘Jaan’, ‘Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai’, ‘International Khiladi’, ‘Zulmi’, ‘Baadshah’, ‘Mela’, ‘Jodi No 1’ and ‘Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’.
