Kartik Aaryan will next be seen in Hansal Mehta’s upcoming film, ‘Captain India’. This will be the first time the actor and the director will be collaborating for a project.

According to a report in a news portal, the film has been kept on the back burner. However, this is not due to the plagiarism allegations that dogged the action drama last year. Apparently, both Kartik and Hansal are busy with commitments. The actor, who has ‘Shehzada’ lined up for release in February, and is yet to wrap up ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, is slated to begin his film with Kabir Khan soon.

Meanwhile, Hansal, who is readying his film with Kareena Kapoor Khan for release, also has Scam 2003, and other projects, in his kitty. Owing to their busy date diaries, ‘Captain India’ has reportedly been put on hold.

Earlier, ‘Operation Yemen’ producer Subhash Kale had accused the makers of ‘Captain India’ of basing their film on the same subject, ‘Operation Raahat’, in which Indians were evacuated during the 2015 military intervention by Saudi Arabia.
