Ranveer Singh calls Student of the Year Karan Johar’s ‘deepest film’, Alia Bhatt has a hilarious response | Hindi Movie News

Karan Johar’s directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead, is all set to release in theatres on July 28. A special screening was hosted for industry friends in Mumbai last night, which was attended by Ranveer, Alia, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, Ananya Panday, Javed Akhtar, Abhishek Bachchan, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Malaika Arora, Kim Sharma, Karisma Kapoor and Gauri Khan among several others.

The lead cast of the movie has been promoting the same at various events and recently Alia, Ranveer and Karan Johar were seen indulging in some fun banter. At one such event, Ranveer told Karan, “Student Of The Year is one of your deepest films.” Karan, catching the sarcasm in Ranveer’s comment, replied, “Yes, Student of the year is one of my deepest cinematic piece of work.”

Alia, on the other hand is seen sticking her tongue out to Ranveer making all of them laugh out loud on stage.
Lat night, post the screening, Ranbir Kapoor was asked what he thought about his wife’s movie. While heading towards their car, Ranbir revealed that he loved the movie and also made a positive hand gesture when asked about his review.

Coming back to RARKPK, The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had reportedly asked the producers to chop a few scenes containing abusive words and remove references to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, including the dialogue ‘Khela hobe’ (Game on) — the slogan of her party TMC during the 2021 Assembly elections.
