Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately. First there was news about Priyanka Chopra Jonas dropping out of the film as she wanted to give priority to her Hollywood projects. Then came the news that Katrina Kaif has also decided to step away from the film, but that turned out to be untrue. Then came the buzz that the makers are going to approach Anushka Sharma to step into Priyanka’s shoes, but now that too, seems to be just a rumour.
According to a report by Zoom, a friend of Farhan has said that Anushka has not even been approached for Jee Le Zara because Priyanka has not opted out of the project in the first place. The person also added that Anushka is hardly picking up projects these days as she wants to devote maximum time to her daughter, Vamika. Ever since her birth, Anushka has just signed Chakda ‘Xpress.
Earlier, according to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Anushka turned down the offer by the makers of Jee Le Zara, citing date issues. The report suggested that Anushka was excited to be part of this female led self-discovery film, but the dates the makers were asking for were clashing with something that Anushka had already planned.
