Alia Bhatt‘s first shoot post the birth of her daughter Raha was for Karan Johar‘s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani‘. She shot for the romantic song, ‘Tum Kya Mile’ in Kashmir in -3 degrees. The actress also has her Youtube channel and she loves vlogging which also keeps her connected to her fans. Her vlogs are lapped upon by her fans and how! Alia has now dropped her first ever song vlog which features all that went behind ‘Tum Kya Mile’.
In this video, one sees that Alia’s mother Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen Bhatt accompanied her to the shoot as Raha also had to be taken care of. This was her daughter’s first ever trip to Kashmir and hence, it was special for Alia. The actress takes us to her make-up shenanigans with ace make-up artist Mickey Contractor. It was a challenge to get this make-up right as they were experimenting. The idea was to get no make-up look for a romantic song which is the most difficult. But they somehow got it right.
Alia also takes us through her work out regime and admitted that she had to really work hard to get into the mode of her character ‘Rani’, post pregnancy. She also takes us through the hardships and nitty-gritties which go behind a romantic song which just looks easy-breezy on-screen.
Karan Johar had fallen ill doing the shoot and Alia and him speak about this experience. KJo confessed, he’s shot for a romantic song after 17 years. Both Karan and Alia picked their favourite sarees since the song is all about chiffon sarees and the romance which lies in them. For Alia and Karan both, it was the multi-coloured pink and green saree which Manish Malhotra calls ‘the kulfi saree’. The actress also loved the black saree.
