In a new interview, Sharib Hashmi, who recently shared screen space with Vicky in Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, revealed that Vicky had auditioned for the role but the makers felt that he was not suitable for the part.The role was eventually played by Sharib in the film, which also starsAnushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
Vicky began his career as an assistant director with Anurag Kashyap’s 2012 directorial Gangs of Wasseypur. He then went on to act in films like Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana and Masaan. After making his debut in Hindi cinema, Vicky has worked in films like Raman Raghav 2.0, Sanju, Manmarziyaan among others.
He is currently basking in the success of Zara Hatke Zara Bachke opposite Sara Ali Khan. In the coming months, Vicky will be seen in Sam Bahadur. Helmed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Sam Bahadur is the story of India’s war hero and first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
