We have heard the stories of how Salman Khan came to the rescue of Saroj Khan during her difficult time and even helped the late choreographer’s grandson with his heart surgery. However, not many know that they two didn’t start off on a good note.
Yes, you read that right! In an old interview with Zoom, Saroj Khan explained revealed that she had a major fallout with Salman, so much so that the actor refused to work with her. Salman allegedly told the choreographer, ‘I will not work with you once I become the top hero’.

In the interview, Saroj claimed that Salman didn’t work with her for a very long time because he was allegedly hurt that Aamir Khan got ‘star moves’ in their film, ‘Andaz Apna Apna‘. He, on the other hand, was just given a dhol to dance with. The dance master reportedly told Zoom that she did exactly what director Rajkumar Santoshi told her. According to her, if someone felt bad then she was sorry but she couldn’t have done anything about it. She also reportedly added that ‘You won’t work with me? Roti Allah deta hai… Tu nahi deta hai’.

Interestingly, in an interview with Mid-Day in 2019, Saroj Khan had revealed that she was not getting any film offers and when Salman Khan heard of her plight, he promised to sign her for one of his films.
The ace choreographer passed away in July 2020.
