Anil Kapoor might have been around for decades, but is still going strong and is one of the most sought after actors today. The 66-year-old, who will soon be seen in the high octane action thriller Fighter, recently opened up on his career and said that in his heydays, he would often pick up a project just to help out a friend.

In an interview to a leading website, Anil said that while now, he is always looking for something new to do, earlier, he would pick a project without thinking, to help out a colleague. He further said that he considers himself lucky that God has given him the opportunity to be able to help someone and that he would expect others to do the same for him, if the need arises. He further said that sometimes, an individual is extremely talented, but luck in not on his side. In such a scenario, it is perfectly fine to help him out, when he is going through a rough patch.
Fighter is directed by Siddharth Anand and stars Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan in lead roles.
