Shahid Kapoor opens up on his viral pic with son Zain at a cricket stadium, reveals he tries to keep things as ‘normal’ as possible at home | Hindi Movie News

Shahid Kapoor is all set for his next – Bloody Daddy, a chic, edgy thriller. On the personal front however, the actor is a far cry from the fierce roles he plays on screen as he is a complete family man, who loves to spend time with wife Mira and kids Misha and Zain.

Recently, the father-son duo was clicked watching a cricket match and their pic instantly went viral. Opening up about the same, Shahid recently told a news portal that it was the only time he could not ‘hide’ from the media. He also added that he and his wife both try to bring in as much normalcy as possible for their kids and don’t underestimate the simpler things in life.
Opening up on Zain, the actor said that his son is a huge cricket buff and loves Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav.
Earlier last week, when quizzed about choosing dark films, Shahid had joked, “I have been married for eight years. I cannot take out frustration at home, so I go on the sets and take it out. Farzi was a warm-up and now this (Bloody Daddy).”
While speaking about his edgy roles, Shahid had previously told PTI, “It’s always, for me as an actor, much more challenging to pick up a character like that… As an actor, through the emotionality and his journey, I have to be able to make the audience like him. So, that’s always more complex, challenging and exciting. And when you pull it off, it gives you a deep sense of satisfaction.”

Bloody Daddy, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar will have a direct to digital release on June 9.
