Pooja Chopra refutes rumours of a cold war with co-star Vidyut Jammwal, says ‘we haven’t even spoken much ever’ | Hindi Movie News

Actor Pooja Chopra, best known for Commando, her debut as a female lead, recently opened up on her innings in Bollywood and whether she and co-star Vidyut Jammwal are not on talking terms with each other.

In an interview to a leading publication, Pooja said that she was initially supposed to do Neeraj Pandey’s Baby with Akshay Kumar, but later met with an accident and hence the role went to Taapsee Pannu. She added that this was rather unfortunate, since she was quite excited for the same, but was advised bed rest for eight months.
She then opened up on Commando and revealed that the makers had met 15 girls for the same and then shortlisted three, eventually choosing her for the role. She also went on to do Aiyaary and a short film called Ouch with Manoj Bajpayee.
Pooja also refuted rumours of a rift with Commando co-star Vidyut Jammwal, saying that there is no way she avoids talking about him or that they do not get along. However, Pooja did admit that she and Vidyut hardly interacted on sets and never exchanged a word. Adding that Vidyut will also vouch for it, the actor said that they used to even practice their lines separately on the sets.
