Himani Shivpuri calls Hum Aapke Hain Koun co-star Salman Khan a ‘prankster’; says ‘I was shocked when he picked me up’ | Hindi Movie News

Himani Shivpuri recently opened up about working with Salman Khan in ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’. The veteran actress recalled shooting for her introduction scene with the superstar.
In an interview with Rajshri Productions, Shivpuri called Salman a ‘prankster’. She revealed that she was doing her first scene in the movie and he made an entry. The moment he came, he shouted ‘Chachi jaan’ and picked her up in his arms. The actress said that she was taken aback because she is used to rehearsing everything, so it was unexpected. However, the actress played along and the scene made it to the final cut of the movie.

Elaborating further, Himani added they used to improvise a lot too and she used to play along. The actress also revealed that the next time when Salman picked her up in another scene in the movie where she announces the birth of Renuka’s baby boy, she was well-versed with his plan and was not surprised this time.

Shivpuri also recalled having loads of fun on the sets of the film. According to her, the naughtiest one on the set was Anupam Kher. She revealed that the actor kept playing pranks and they all used to play dumb charades too, it was just like a family.
The 1994 hit film also starred Madhuri Dixit, Mohnish Bahl, Reema Lagoo, Alok Nath, Satish Shah, Bindu, Dilip Joshi and several others.
