Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha got engaged on May 13 in a dreamy engagement ceremony with just their close friends and family in attendance. The star-studded event took place in Delhi.

She wrote, ‘It’s official, these two amazingly warm and wonderful people are engaged. They are Public figures, which comes with its own perceptions and I was no different, I guess till I interacted with them. A politician and an actor. They are hardworking, inclusive and extremely responsive, generous and loving people. It was so easy to be around them, have so many chats, and exchange ideas. They truly feed off each other. It’s the small things that stand out. He is so indulgent and gentle with her. She is moony eyed around him ..: You can see the connection. Parineeti’s mother Reena Chopra also shared pictures from the ceremony and wrote, ‘There are reasons in your life that make you believe all over again and all the time that there is a God up there. Parineeti and Raghav knew each other for several years. They studied together at the London School of Economics and have been friends for a long time.
