After receiving flak for partying at a supposed ‘strip club‘ in London, Athiya Shetty has clarified that she along with her husband KL Rahul and their friends had gone to a regular place.
“I usually choose to be silent and not react, but sometimes it is important to stand up for yourself. Rahul, I and our friends went out to a regular place as one does. Stop taking things out of context, and check your facts before reporting. Peace and love,” Athiya wrote on Instagram.

In the viral videos, KL Rahul can be seen enjoying his time with Athiya in the club. In the first video, an exotic dancer can be seen showing off her moves wearing a barely-there lingerie while the cricketer is seen grooving to the music. In another video, KL Rahul and Athiya can be seen having a great time together.
However, the couple’ visit to club didn’t go down well with netizens. Social media users have been expressing their disbelief and sharing their thoughts on the video. While many people are convinced that the man in question was indeed KL Rahul, some people have already began trolling by starting a meme-fest on his road to recovery.
