The Archies plot revealed by sources, here is what the movie will be based on

Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film, ‘The Archies’ is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films in Bollywood. The movie, based around The Archies comics stars Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Santana Roach, Yuvraj Menda, Khushi Kapoor and Aditi Dot in key roles. According to a source, in an interaction with Bollywood Hungama, the movie will be based on the issue of deforestation. The source adds that if one looks at the teaser again, it is set in a jungle, and that is just not for aesthetics, it adds a lot of value to the entire narrative of the movie. It is said that despite the young cast, the movie touches upon important topics like environment and protecting our forests and nature conservation.

Recently, reports were rife that the lead pair of the movie Suhana Khan and Agastya Nanda are dating and even though the two have neither confirmed nor denied the news, sources have been quoted saying that the two are, infact a couple.
Directed by Zoya Akhtar, The Archies is co-written by Reema Kagti and Ayesha Devitre. Set in the 1960s, the movie is said to be a riot of music and drama. The film is expected to release on Netflix, sometime this year.
