‘Avatar: The Way Of Water’ box-office collection day 16: The film performs well on its third Saturday | English Movie News

James Cameron’s ‘Avatar: The Way Of Water’ has been doing a phenomenal business in India and amidst the Christmas and New year weekend, it was the only horse in the race seemingly. The film has largely benefitted from the Holiday period even during the week days hence the grown on its third Saturday didn’t show a major jump.
Yet, ‘Avatar 2’ had a super collection of 11-12 crore nett on its third Saturday as per trade website boxofficeindia.com. The film has now gone past the 300 crore mark in 16 days. The total collection so far is 307 crore nett.

With that, ‘Avatar’ is looking to smash the records for Hollywood films in their week three and chase the figure of 367 crore which was made by ‘Avengers Endgame’.
As far as the Hindi releases are concerned, Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus’ had made a total of 30.25 crore by the end of its week one on Friday. On the other hand, Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Drishyam 2’ collected approximately 75 lakhs even on its seventh Friday and continues to fare better than the Ranveer Singh starrer.
