However, did you know that she once had a huge crush on none other than Akshay Kumar? Yes, you heard that right! The actress recently graced a dance reality show to promote her upcoming film, ‘Salaam Venky’.

During a fun segment with Maniesh Paul, the host asked Karan to reveal who Kajol’s biggest crush in Bollywood was, apart from Ajay Devgn. To this, Karan Johar replied ‘Akshay Kumar’, adding that she had a big crush on the actor.

Earlier too, Karan appeared on Kapil Sharma’s chat show with Kajol, he revealed how the actress looked for Akshay Kumar everywhere at a film premiere. It was the premiere of Rishi Kapoor and Pakistani actor Zeba Bakhtiar starrer Henna in Mumbai in 1991. The filmmaker also added that he helped Kajol find him. Although they couldn’t find Akshay at the end of it, he revealed that they found each other.

Kajol and Karan share a close bond and have been BFFs for a very long time. They have collaborated on films like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, ‘My Name Is Khan’ and others.

Meanwhile, ‘Salaam Venky’ also stars Vishal Jethwa, Rajeev Khandelwal and Aahana Kumra in key roles.
