Kartik Aaryan, mostly known for his comic and lover boy roles is all set to play a boxer in his next. Yes, you heard that right! If reports are to be believed, the 31-year-old is going to bulk up for this next, to be directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. According to a Pinkvilla source, Kartik Aaryan will be sporting a beefed up look for the same. Otherwise known for his lean frame, Kartik will undergo a major transformation that will include diet and body language changes, apart from following a strict exercise regimen.

The source further adds that to help Kartik achieve the same, fitness trainer Rahul Bhatt has been brought on board. Rahul, who had earlier trained Aamir Khan for Dangal has already started working with Kartik in Rajkot, where the latter is shooting for Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani.

Kartik has recently been in the news for allegedly “replacing” Akshay Kumar in Hera Pheri 3, however co-star Suniel Shetty clarified that Kartik is in fact not playing Raju (Akshay’s character) in the movie, rather it is a new role altogether.
