Even though India lost the World Cup finals against Australia last night, the entire country could not have been more proud of the team, that did not lose a single match before the finals. Amidst the heartbreak, Amitabh Bachchan had taken to his X handle last evening, shortly before the loss and said, “Kuch bhi toh nahi (Nothing at all).”

Netizens, who were anyway heartbroken, reminded Big B that whenever he sees the match India loses, something that he himself had said when India stormed into the finals by defeating New Zealand last week.

One netizen commented on Big B’s post, “You had said that whenever you watch a match, the team loses, then you did not want to take risks in the World Cup.” Another one said, “You watched the match and now India has lost.”
Last week, moments after Team India‘s triumph over New Zealand in the ICC World Cup semi-final on Wednesday, Amitabh shared on his official social media account: “Whenever I’m not watching, we secure the victory!
