During her recent visit to India, actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas took the opportunity to connect with industry professionals and contemplate her next steps in the Hindi film industry. The Don franchise is reportedly under consideration for her upcoming projects.

Having officially declared that Ranveer Singh will carry the Don franchise forward in the forthcoming sequel, replacing Shah Rukh Khan, filmmaker Farhan Akhtaris now fully focused on the development of Don 3.Farhan’s focus moved to Don as his other project Jee Le Zara which was going to bring together names likeAlia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif together for the first time faced date issues from its leading actresses.
As per a report in Hindustan Times, Akhtar is currently in the process of bringing together his Dil Dhadakne Do co-stars once again.It suggests that Don 3 team has approached Priyanka Chopra to reprise her role. Initial discussions have already taken place while Priyanka was recently in the city as part of a film festival .
Due to the unavailability of dates for Jee Le Zara, Priyanka and Farhan’s teams are striving to materialise Don 3. Priyanka who shares a very close bond with Farhan is more than happy to collaborate with her Don director once again.
