Yami Gautam roots for Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 amid box office clash with OMG 2: I hope it happens like Barbenheimer | Hindi Movie News

Two big films, Gadar 2 and OMG 2, are going to lock horns at the box office this Friday. Both the films are distinct from each other and led by the biggest stars such as Sunny Deol and Akshay Kumar. Amid the big clash, Yami Gautam was seen rooting and extending her support for Gadar 2.

During her recent interaction with the media, Yami was asked about her views on the box office clashbetween Gadar 2 and OMG 2.

To which, she replied, “I have a picture of (Gadar 2) cutout with the hand pump, I will post it, and will wish Sunny sir. We all are his fans, and we all love him. We all have watched Gadar (Ek Prem Katha) in theatres, and I am wishing, the more the better for the audience. Gadar 2 has its own audience, we have our own audience. I hope the audience watches both films.”
Yami hopes that both Gadar 2 and OMG 2 will be India’s example of Barbenheimer, a term which was coined by fans while sharing their excitement to watch Oppenheimer and Barbie which were released on the same day in theatres.

“Just like the recent two Hollywood films released on the same day, and they both did really well. (They) had their own audience. So I hope the same happens here,” she said.
According to the early predictions, Gadar 2 will definitely have an upper hand at the box office over OMG 2. Gadar 2 has already sold 45000 tickets in the advance booking and the movie is likely to have a huge opening. OMG 2, on the other hand, has also shown positive response among the audience.
