The property that houses Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Raj Kundra’s famous restaurant Bastian at Worli went into redevelopment and the couple decided to close down their restaurant in a big way with all the friends and family members. Salman Khan, AP Dhillon, Mira Rajput, Bhumi Pednekar among many others showed up to make it a grand and memorable event.
Salman Khan was spotted in an all black ensemble for the event, but what caught everyone’s attention was his nearly bald look that gave way to rumours about Tere Naam 2, or that he’s undergone a surgery.But nothing concrete has come out till now. AP Dhillon who is the flavour of the month, thanks to speculations of his relationship withBanita Sandhu and his docu series ‘AP Dhillon: First of a Kind’ was spotted in leather pants teamed with black T-shirt and denim jacket. Banita however was missing from the event.
Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput was also spotted at the event in a short ruffled white dress which she had teamed up with heels. She was also seen giving a hug to Bhumi Pednekar before entering the restaurant. Bhumi attended the event with her sister Samiksha wearing a top and long skirt. Also spotted at the event were Shamita Shetty, Harman Baweja, Kanika Kapoor, Rohit Roy, Prakriti and Sukriti Kakkar.
On the work front, Shilpa Shetty will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force where she will be teaming up with Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi. The series is all set to release during Diwali. Shilpa plays an officer in the special unit of police force, hence she is seen in an all black outfit unlike the police’s khaki uniform in the pictures released till now. Talking about her collaboration with another Shetty; she said “Double Shetty! Double dhamaka!” WIth Indian Police Force, Shilpa would be completing 30 years in the industry. She began her career with Baazigar in 1993 and then went on to do films like Dhadkan, Dus, Phir Milenge, Life… In A Metro and Main Khiladi Tu Anari etc.
