Kajol is celebrating her 49th birthday today. In an adorable post on social media, her husband and actor Ajay Devgnpenned a humorous birthday note for her. The actor wrote as the caption, “Tareef karu kya teri… Happy Birthday @kajol” and shared a funny video in which a voiceover asks questions on the lines of, “Who is the better cook? Which one of you are the most patient? Is the better communicator?” and other amusing questions.For the answers to all the questions,Ajay is seen pointing at Kajol, hinting that she is best at all. Replying to Ajay’s post, Kajol wrote in the comments, “You didn’t have to lie about the cooking.. you know…” and added a red heart emoji to the same.Though Ajav Devgn and Kajol have been together for almost 24 years and counting now, they didn’t get along when they first met on the sets of Hulchul, a 1995 movie. Reportedly, Ajay Devgn was a more quiet and reserved person and found Kajol to be too loud, arrogant and boisterous for his liking. Kajol on the other hand perceived Ajay as too aloof and a bit of a snob.
It was only when they were filming a particular scene, that Kajol suddenly got the strong impression that Ajay would play a “very crucial role” in her life. She later revealed on a chat show that at the time they each had a respective boyfriend and girlfriend and therefore could not think of going out with each other. “We were just friends. Two years later, when we were both out of our respective relationships, we started seeing each other,” Kajol added.
