The trailer of the upcoming action-thriller ‘Jawan’ has revealed Shah Rukh Khan’s first-ever bald look. The trailer shows the ‘King of Bollywood’ in a double role, with his bald appearance at the end, which has attracted the maximum attention. Fans have already started the meme fest online.
After the launch, the film took over the top trends on social media and became a hot topic of discussion. Interestingly, all the hype and buzz around the movie helped take its views past the 112 Million mark on all platforms. The trailer crossed the 49 Million mark on YouTube alone within 24 hours of its release.
Sharing the official numbers on their handle, the film’s production house wrote, “The love for Jawan keeps growing! Thank you all!”
This puts it ahead of Prabhas‘ ‘Adipurush‘, which garnered an estimated 109 million views for its trailer.
Other Bollywood films like ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ and ‘Sooryavanshi’ also clocked in an estimated 112 million views for its trailer. ‘KGF Chapter 2’ collected over 120 million views for its trailer launch, a few spots below Akshay Kumar’s ‘Housefull 4’ which raked in 123 million views in 24 hours.
SRK’s ‘Zero’ (124 million), Prabhas’ ‘Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion (126 million), Tiger Shroff’s ‘Baaghi 3’ (129 million) and Hrithik Roshan’s ‘WAR’ (137 million) round off the list. Currently sitting on the top of the list is the teaser trailer of Yash’s ‘KGF Chapter 2’ which raked in an impressive 271 million views.
‘Jawan’, directed by Atlee and produced by Gauri Khan, will release on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
