After his off-beat performance in ‘Vikram Vedha’, fans are anxiously waiting to see Hrithik Roshan in ‘Fighter‘. The actor has been prepping hard for this role in the movie and it’s touted to be India’s first acioner. A video of Hrithik has resurfaced on the internet where the actor is seen talking about his role in the film.
This clip is from an old interview where Hrithik talks about his character who is called Patty.He revealed that he they shot for 12 days inside the Sukhois and with the Sukhois. It’s been so incredible and inspiring to be around the Indian Air Force for him. Hrithik has learnt the body language, decorum, discipline and the kind of things they’re up against, each day.
He further added that his character Patty is quite interesting and similar to his younger self. He said that in many ways, in age and maturity, Patty is a little younger than what Hrithik is or what Kabir from ‘WAR‘ was. This is Hrithik’s second collaboration with Siddharth Anand, post ‘WAR’. The actor said that character from ‘WAR’ was evolved and composed, but Patty is young, spontaneous and angry at some things may be. However, Hrithik wouldn’t be personally angry at the kind of things Patty is. Hence, it’s an interesting space for him, because he remembers being like that at some point in his life. Though, it’s hard to reconcile with that side of him because he has to keep his evolution aside.
‘Fighter’ is set to release on January 25, 2024! The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi. Fans are waiting for this Siddharth Anand directorial after what he created with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Pathaan’.
