Tabu was rumoured to be dating south star Nagarjuna for the longest time. Reportedly, Tabu was in love with him for 10 years when he was already married to Amala and Naga Chaitanya was also born by then. But both Nagarjuna and Amala had denied the rumours of the actor dating Tabu.
However, reportedly, Tabu and Nagarjuna were living together but never tied the knot. Once when Tabu was on ‘Koffee With Karan, she was asked if these rumours were true. The actress reacted that this Nagarjuna story is very old and keeps coming back. Tabu further added that she doesn’t know what to say about it except that Nagarjuna is one of the closest people in her life. He’s one of the most important relationships that she has and she doesn’t have a label for it. She can’t do anything about it.
Nagarjuna had said in an interview with TOI that, “Tabu is a fantastic friend of mine. our friendship goes way back, since I was 21 or 22 and she was just 16 years old. That’s like almost half a lifetime… About our friendship, whatever said is less. I have nothing to hide about her. When you mention her name, my face lights up… (laughs). it is simple as that. Now, when I say things like that, if you want to read into it, then it’s your point of view… To me, she is a beautiful person, and a beautiful friend. She always will be.”
Meanwhile, in an interview, Nagarjuna’s son Naga Chaitanya was asked about his bonding with Bollywood celebs. He had reacted and said, he has the maximum bonding with Aamir sir. He further added, Tabu’s name and admitted he has a lot of bonding with her.
Naga had made his Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chadha’. After his separation with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the actor is rumoured to be dating Sobhita Dhulipalia.
