“I’m still falling in love with her….a bit more every day!” That’s how Shahid Kapoor would respond every time you ask the actor about the secret behind his blissful eight years of married life with Mira Rajput. Recently the ‘Bloody Daddy’ actor shared how his life changed completely after marrying Mira. Speaking about the key to a successful married life Shahid admitted that he has now accepted that his point of view is not always the correct one. The versatile actor explains that marriage makes a man realise how many mistakes he has made and what things he should change about himself.
During a recent interview when he was asked about the recent changes he has made Shahid promptly said that initially he would say no to Mira sometimes but now he always says yes. After eight years of struggle, he has realised that one shouldn’t fight the battle he can’t win, since the wife is always right!

Speaking about the lessons he has learnt from his eight-year-long marriage with Mira the actor admitted that he has now realized that his point of view is not always the right one but a lot of successful men have a problem with admitting this fact. They think mostly they’re always right. But, that’s not true. That’s a really good thing with Mira because she has a very strong point of view, that as a couple they have learnt to look at each other’s point of view and also learnt to agree to disagree and know that one point of view is not always correct, there could be various points of view which are relevant in their own way.
The ‘Farzi’ actor also confessed that Mira is the perfect partner for him since she keeps him in a “healthy space”. When asked who is the bad cop and the good cop with their kids Misha and Zain, Shahid says he’s the good cop most of the time and Mira is the bad cop most of the time because she’s the mother and she knows what is best for the children.
