Rashmika Mandanna showers love on Maitreyi Ramakrishnan for performing ‘Saami Saami’ in Never Have I Ever 4

Rashmika Mandanna’s swift dance moves in Pushpa song ‘Saami Saami’ have been massively popular and recreating the same is Maitreyi Ramakrishnan in the fourth season of a popular OTT show.
The song has been featured in the recently released web series ‘Never Have I Ever’. Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Richa Moorjaniare seen shaking a leg to ‘Saami Saami’ in a wedding sequence in the show.Reacting to the same, Rashmika reshared the video and wrote, “@ramakrishnannn .. stunner! you did sooooo gooooooddddd. sending you full love.”

‘Never Have I Ever’ narrates the story of Devi (Ramakrishnan), an overachieving Indian-American teenager who is mourning the death of her father while navigating life as a high-school student. Moorjani plays the role of Devi’s cousin Kamala while Poorna Jagannathan is seen essaying the role of Devi aka Maitreyi Ramakrishnan’s mother. On her recent visit to India, Moorjani had opened up about how the show received an overwhelming response in different parts of the country. She had said, “They told me how they feel like this is the first time they’ve ever felt represented or relatable to a character in an American television show. It’s very rare as an actor, especially as a brown actor in this country, to be a part of a show that can be so explosive in so many ways.” ‘Never Have I Ever’ is created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher.
