Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush recovers Rs 432 crore before its release: Report | Hindi Movie News

Director Om Raut‘s highly-ambitious film Adipurush starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, Dev, Devdatta Nage and Saif Ali Khan is all set to release in theatres on June 16. Though the movie has been at the receiving end of criticism ever since its first teaser was released, it seems like the makers have already recovered most of its production amount before hitting the screens.
According to an entertainment portal, Adipurush has managed to draw Rs 432 crore from its mega budget of Rs 500 crore. The report states that the Om Raut directorial Adipurush has raked in Rs 247 crore from non-theatrical revenues comprising of its satellite rights, music rights, digital rights, and other ancillary rights. Apart from this, the film has registered Rs 185 crore as minimum guarantee from its theatrical revenue in the South.

Early box office estimates have suggested that Adipurush could manage to earn Rs 100 crore in its first three days of its release from its Hindi version alone. It remains to be seen if the film’s business predictions turn out to be true.
Adipurush is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. It is written and directed by Om Raut and shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages.
