Nora Fatehi expresses her desire to play Helen in her biopic: It was tough for both of us | Hindi Movie News

Nora Fatehi has often expressed her admiration for the legendary dancer and actress Helen in her past interviews. In a new interview, the Moroccan beauty said that it would be an honour for her to play Helen in her biopic.
She mentioned that she has studied all videos of Helen properly including her breathing spaces of the shoulder movements, her hands and her aura. “I had to be feminine, I had to be poised, I had to be very flirty and I had to own it,” she said days after paying tribute to Helen in her non-stop 10-minute performance at a recent event.
Nora said that she could relate to Helen for several reasons. She feels that they both have a lot of similarities. They both came from a different country adding that it was tough for both of them. They both were introduced to the world through dance and that too in a different genre of dance.

She further said that they changed what dance meant in cinema. She added that it would be an honour if the filmmakers ever think of her in the role of Helen in her biopic where she could embody her aura and bring it out on the big screen with that emotion. “I think I would really be able to connect with that,” Nora said.
At the event, Nora left the audience spellbound with her performance on Helen’s superhit tracks including Piya Tu and Aaj Ki Raat. Several videos of her performing on iconic songs like Yeh Mera Dil and Laila Main Laila had gone went viral on social media.
