Adah Sharma is currently riding high on the success of The Kerala Story; the film in the fourth week of its release has crossed more than 200 crores at the box office. The actress recently took to Instagram to share some throwback pictures from the film’s shoot in Afghanistan. Adah mentioned that they were shooting in the cold and windy terrain of Afghanistan when it was -16 . She also shared details of how her makeup was done for this sequence.
She wrote, “Sunkissed, After and Before from #TheKeralaStory Secret to chapped cracked lips like these … dehydrate for 40 hours in minus 16 degrees,” Adah wrote and added, “the mattress was kept to practice the fall… but we didn’t use it #bruisedknees and chila hua elbows but ufff all so worth it

Some time back, there were reports that The Kerala Story would soon be marking its OTT premiere, but the makers denied the story saying they are yet to finalize the same. The film has been in the midst of controversy ever since the trailer dropped with states like West Bengal banning the film. Eventually, the makers of the film took the State of West Bengal to the Supreme Court and the Court overturned the ban, allowing the film to be released in the state.
