Throwback: When Varun Dhawan made fun of Alia Bhatt’s walk, said her parents did not teach her how to do it properly | Hindi Movie News

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt made their Bollywood debut together with Student of the Year (2012), along side Sidharth Malhotra. While it was rumoured that Alia and Sidharth started seeing each other after the movie only to breakup later, she and Varun have always been great friends and share a warm camaraderie with each other.

Apart from their on-screen outings like “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania” (2014) and “Badrinath Ki Dulhania” (2017), Alia and Varun also appeared on Koffee With Karan where the duo laughed, joked and pulled each other’s leg.
During the rapid fire round, when Varun was asked to write a matrimonial ad for her, the actor said, “Ladki flexible hai, Aloo ki tarah hai, kyunki who kidhar bhi fit ho jati hai aur uski twacha butter ki tarah hai. Bohat hi mulayam.” When asked what is the one thing that he would want to change about Alia, Dhawan said, “The way she walks, sorry Sonia aunty, Mahesh sir. They didn’t teach her how to walk.” This left both Alia and Karan erupting in laughter.
Varun and Alia appeared again on Karan’s show, a couple of years later.
Coming back to movies, Varun will soon be seen in Bawaal with Janhvi Kapoor, while Alia is all set to star in her maiden Hollywood movie, Heart of Stone.
