Shah Rukh Khan fulfils dying fan’s last wish by getting on video call with her; offers financial assistance and promises to visit her | Hindi Movie News

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan showed us all why he is called the King of Hearts. The actor, who is currently busy with his film schedules, took time out to fulfil a dying wish of a terminally ill fan.
60-year-old Shivani Chakraborty from West Bengal made headlines this week when she expressed her wish to meet Shah Rukh Khan. Shivani, who is suffering from terminal cancer and said in an interview with a TV channel that her days were numbered but that she didn’t give up hope on meeting King Khan.

On Tuesday, fan clubs were happy to share that Shah Rukh, on hearing of the lady, reached out to her via a video call. A viral photo doing the rounds online sees Shah Rukh chatting with Shivani and her daughter. According to the posts, the actor chatted with the lady for around 40 minutes and besides praying for her speedy recovery, he also read a ‘dua’ for her.

The viral posts state that Khan also offered her financial assistance for her cancer treatment and promised to meet her at her home and have a special homemade fish curry from her kitchen.
The actor also promised Shivani to attend her daughter’s wedding.
Shivani won hearts when she expressed her desire to meet SRK before she dies of the terminal disease. Reiterating the actor’s love for Bengali food, Shivani added that she would love to cook for him an enjoyable homely meal.

Shivani revealed that she has been a huge SRK fan and besides putting up his posters in her house, she also used to watch all his movies in the theatre, until her health started deteriorating.
SRK is currently shooting for a big action sequence in Tiger 3 with Salman Khan. The actor also has ‘Jawan‘ with Atlee slated to release in September and ‘Dunki‘ with Rajkumar Hirani in December.
