While at the festival the ‘Atrangi’ star revealed that she always aspired to be at Cannes and now that she is finally there, she’s very nervous.

Revealing more about her outfit, Sara explained that it is a traditional Indian, handmade creation by Anu Jani and Sandeep Khosla and the idea behind the look was to celebrate designers from India. Sara also said that she has always been very proud of her ‘Indianness’ and therefore it embodies who she is. She described her look as fresh, modern and yet Indian.
Sara also explained why attending such global events is important as they lead to global recognition for Indian talent and with the world becoming smaller and smaller, such events give a chance for an amalgamation of culture. She found this aspect of international events to be beautiful.
Sara will be seen next in Zara Hatke Zara Bachke opposite Vicky Kaushal.
