Ranbir Kapoor, who romanced Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Karan Johar‘s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘, revealed in a throwback interview that he felt very shy while performing intimate scenes with the actress.
In an interview with a radio channel at the time, Ranbir confessed that he was shy while doing the scenes with Aishwarya and even hesitant to touch her cheek. The actor added that his hands were shivering. However, Aishwarya reminded him that they were just acting and he needs to do a better job. Ranbir added that he also realised that he won’t get an opportunity again so he took the chance and went with it.

After the interview, Ranbir was trolled for his ‘opportunity’ statement. However, he later clarified that his statement was taken in bad taste and that it was blown out of context. The actor also went on to add that Aishwarya is a superb actor and also a family friend. She’s one of India’s most talented and respected women. He will be forever grateful to her for her contribution to ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. He added that he could not have disrespected her like that.
