Rajesh Khattar, who was married to Neliima Azeem for 12 years before parting ways, recently recalled how their relationship first started.
In an interview with a news portal, Rajesh revealed that they met first on the set. It started with friendship and then one thing led to another. He added that they landed up in Mumbai and were together for over a year before they tied the knot. According to him, they have some beautiful memories together.

When asked if he is still in touch with Neliima, Rajesh said ‘100 percent’. The actor revealed that his second wife Vandana Sajnani and Neliima are good friends. They are also in touch with each other.
Rajesh and Neliima have a son together named Ishaan Khatter. Rajesh and Vandana have been married since 2008.

Neliima, in an earlier interview, had revealed that her second marriage would have worked if there was more control, logic and sense to it. According to her, with all the struggle in Bombay and the pressures, she succumbed. However, she also added that she has the ability to get up and start walking again. The veteran actress also called her sons Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan her inspiration and source of encouragement and happiness.
