The production house run by Subaskaran has produced many giants in Kollywood, including “2.0, “Darbar,” and ‘Ponniyin Selvan‘. The movie makers have signed up Ajith for ‘AK 62’ and ‘Vidaamuyarchi‘, as well as Rajinikanth for ‘Thalaivar 171’. As per the reports, the Chennai offices of the production company are reportedly being investigated as the Enforcement Directorate conducts a search. According to reports, on May 16 in the morning, searches took place at several offices of the production firm located in Chennai.
As the ED received a complaint of money laundering against the production house, a search was held, and it is currently underway. More details are awaited.
Launched in 2014, the production house has contributed to the success of many Tamil films. In recent times, they produced ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ in 2022, and it made a gross of more than Rs 500 crore at the box office, and the latest release, ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2,” has made more than Rs 300 crore at the box office.
The production house now has a few big projects in the pipeline that include “Lal Salaam‘, ‘Vidaamuyarchi’, and “Indian 2,” among others.
