Ayushmann Khurrana‘s father P Khurana, who was a well-known astrologer, breathed his last on May 19. He was admitted to the hospital in Punjab two days ago where he was being treated for his heart disease.

While Kajol wrote, ‘Deepest condolences to @ayushmannk for his loss. Parents are parents and their loss is always felt on the deepest level’, Suniel Shetty wrote, ‘May God give you the strength to overcome this huge loss. Heartfelt condolences from all of us at home’.

An official statement from Aparshakti Khurana’s spokesperson can be read, “It’s with our deep sadness to inform that Ayushmann and Aparshakti Khurana’s father, Astrologer P Khurana passed away this morning at 10:30 am in Mohali, owing to a prolonged incurable ailment. We are indebted for all your prayers and support during this time of personal loss.”
In an earlier interview with a news portal, Ayushmann had revealed that although he doesn’t believe in astrology, his father was his ‘life coach and mentor’.
