The first information report (FIR) filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the drugs case involving actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has named KP Gosavi and his aide Sanvile D’Souza of conspiring to extort Rs 25 crore from SRK‘s family on behalf of Sameer Wankhede.
Wankhede and two officials of his team did not follow the procedure of investigation in the case, the FIR added.
The FIR is reportedly based on the Special Enquiry Team (SET) which was set up by the NCB when witness number one of the case, Prabhakar Sail, alleged that Wankhede and Gosavi planned to extort a huge amount from Aryan Khan’s family.
The CBI has booked Wankhede and others for alleged criminal conspiracy (120-B IPC), threat of extortion (388 IPC) besides provisions of bribery under the Prevention of Corruption Act on a complaint from the NCB.

Wankhede on Saturday alleged that he was being punished for being a patriot. Talking to ETimes, Wankhede had said, “I will fight till death. My children who are just two years old are fighting 12 people. My father who is 70-plus years old is battling 7 to 8 people. Same is the case with my in-laws. For the media this is just a piece of news but for me it is the security of my family, which is my priority. We have been living under threat.”

Wankhede alleged that 18 CBI officials on Friday raided his house while his wife and children were present in his house.”I am getting rewarded for being a patriot, yesterday 18 CBI officials raided my residence and searched it for more than 12 hours while my wife and children were present in the house. They found Rs 23,000 and four property papers. These assets were acquired before I joined the service,” Wankhede told ANI.
Sameer Wankhede further claimed that CBI officials took the phone of his wife Kranti Redkar in their possession. Apart from that, CBI recovered Rs 28,000 from his sister Yasmin Wankhede’s house and Rs 28,000 from his father Dnyaneshwar Wankhede’s house. Rs 1800 were also recovered from Sameer, the residence of Wankhede’s father-in-law.
CBI on Friday conducted searches at 29 locations across the country following the alleged corruption case against him and three others linked to the Aryan Khan drugs-on-cruise case.
