Suniel Shetty has been making noise ever since he made his debut in the OTT space. His look and performances in shows like Dharavi Bank and Hunter garnered praises for the actor, who now feels that the break he took from showbiz has only worked in his favour.
He says, “That break I think worked like magic. I took this time off to observe the fresh lot of talent and my contemporaries perform on screen. I took this time to understand the good in them, and looking at it differently. When you start looking for good in people, that’s when you learn. When you are only looking at people as a competition and in a negative way is when nothing good comes out of it. I feel looking at everything positively teaches you about the people who made it to being who they are.”

Last seen playing full-fledged roles in films like Koyelaanchal, Desi Kattey in 2014, Suniel did cameo appearances in A Gentleman and Welcome to New York in the last few years. He further adds, “For me, things just fell into place. It wasn’t planned. I had mentally prepared myself that this is the kind of work I want to do and so I guess it just kept falling into place. I have phenomenal work coming my way. Give me any kind of money, yet I said no to so many projects that came to me. I am very clear in my head and that is why I seem sorted when it comes to my career graph.”
