While this indeed came as a surprise, in an interview with News18, Satyadeep shared that there was nothing secretive about the wedding. He revealed that they got married under the ‘Special Marriage Act’ and put a notice 30 days before the marriage in the sub-registrar. Moreover, there were about 80-85 people at the after party of their wedding, that evening who had got an invite a month in advance. So, there was nothing secretive about it.
He further added that usually when people find out things, it’s because their PR teams have sent the information. But in their case, it was just low key and that’s how they wanted it. He expressed that the fact that it was hid from everyone was a bonus.
Satyadeep and Masaba were dating for over two years, before they decided to tie the knot.
