Dharmendra silences a troll who questioned why he was behaving like a struggling actor | Hindi Movie News

Veteran actor Dharmendra recently shared the first look from his upcoming web series Taj – Divided by Blood. He will be seen playing the role of Sheikh Salim Chishti, a Sufi saint. The announcement did not go down well with one Twitter user who questioned the actor’s behaviour. The 87-year-old silenced the troll in the most dignified manner.
Sharing his first look, Dharmendra tweeted, “Friends, I am playing Shaikh Salim Chishti ….a sufi saint, in film Taaj. A small but an important role………need your good wishes.”

Replying to the tweet, the user commented, “Why is he behaving like a struggling actor?” To which, Dharmendra responded saying, “Vaishnav, life is always a beautiful struggle. You, me every one is struggling………Resting means …..end of your loving dreams…. end of your beautiful journey.”

Fans were agitated over the Twitter user for disrespecting the living legend. Many people slammed the user for his obnoxious language. “Some people….. How they have the courage to question someone who they can’t even touch in their nine lives… Always love and respect to you @aapkadharam Dharam Sir… Wishing you years and years of health… Keep surprising us,” one Twitter user wrote.

There were also people who lauded Dhamendra for teaching the troll a lesson with positivity. “Sir this humility is what is needed the most nowadays. The world needs more and more humbleness. Keep spreading love sir. You are a role model to billions,” one Twitter user commented. To which, the actor replied, “kuldeep, i always pray for love peace and harmony. Social media is the best media to spread an atmosphere for such a noble cause. God bless you.”

Produced by Contiloe Digital, the series is described as a revelatory tale about the inner workings and the succession drama that played out in the hallowed chambers of the Mughal empire. The story encapsulates the reign of King Akbar (Shah) who is on a quest to find a worthy successor.

The ensemble cast includes Aditi Rao Hydari as Anarkali, Aashim Gulati as Prince Salim, Taha Shah as Prince Murad, Shubham Kumar Mehra as Prince Daniyal, Sandhya Mridul as Queen Jodha Bai, Zareena Wahab as Queen Salima, Sauraseni Maitra as Mehr un Nisa and Rahul Bose as Mirza Hakim.
