Rajkummar Rao reveals he will not do films for friendship anymore; says it is not good for the film and him | Hindi Movie News

Rajkummar Rao is undoubtedly one of the most talented actors we have in Bollywood. The actor recently stated that he will now stop doing films purely on the basis of friendship.
In an interview with a news portal, the actor said that sometimes you get emotional and agree to do a film because you are friends with some people. However, he has now decided not to do this anymore. According to him, when he is not there wholeheartedly in a project and he doesn’t believe in it and feels that it is not good for him and even for the film.

Elaborating further, Rajkummar added that it is not easy to put your heart and soul into a project that you don’t believe in. According to him, people have put money into the film and there are so many people who are working hard to make that film and nobody wants to make a bad film. Everyone is trying to make a good film. The actor also added that although you try to do your best, there are days when you realise that this can misfire. He doesn’t have many friends who are producers and directors, Rajkummar told Free Press Journal.

On the work front, Rajkummar was last seen in ‘Monica O My Darling’. Next, he will be seen in ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ alongside his ‘Roohi’ co-star Janhvi Kapoor.
