ETimes is in possession of the Censor Copy of Arjun Kapoor-Tabu upcoming Vishal Bhardwaj directorial ‘Kuttey’. The contents of the copy are, to say the least, baffling. What on earth is going on if dirty gaalis are going to be substituted with equally dirty gaalis? We are not playing the moral police here but really, really puzzled that how the substitutions that have been suggested by the Censor Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) spell any logic? We shall refrain from spelling out the gaalis here.

‘Kuttey’ stars Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu, Arjun Kapoor, Konkona Sen Sharma, Radhika Madan, Kumud Mishra and Shardul Bhardwaj in main roles. Produced by Luv Ranjan, Vishal Bhardwaj, Ankur Garg and Rekha Bhardwaj under the banner of Luv Films and Vishal Bhardwaj Films, and presented by T-Series, ‘Kuttey’ is set to release this Friday (January 13, 2023).

Meanwhile, for those who’ve come in late, reportedly, ‘Kuttey’ has been given an ‘A’ certificate. The film has a run time of 112 minutes.

But we fail to understand that if it is an ‘A’ film and the original gaalis have yet been tampered with, why suggest replacements that are equally obnoxious? We repeat: No moral policing here, just confused.
