Nora Fatehi floored fans with her glamorous performance at the fan festival of the ongoing FIFA World Cup. While in Qatar, the actress also enjoyed a live game from the stadium and thanked FIFA President Gianni Infantino and his wife for the same.

In a social media post, Nora shared her experience of watching a live football match for the first time and wrote, “Thank you, Gianni Infantino, for having me at the game! Portugal vs Uruguay! It was lovely to meet you and your wife! It was my first time watching a match live in a stadium and it was an amazing experience!” Nora is closely following the game and had shared a fun video on social media, celebrating the Moroccan team’s win over Spain.

Nora Fatehi had performed to the tunes of ‘Light The Sky’, which is this year’s FIFA anthem and impressed fans during the FIFA World Cup 2022 Fan Festival, which took place at Al Bidda Park in Doha last month. Sharing her experience of performing on a global stage, Nora had shared in a video, “To play the song for the FIFA World Cup anthem – Light the Sky – it’s everything to me. To just stand there and sing the song. The song has so much positivity. It means unity to me, diversity – being able to have Hindi lyrics in the song, despite India not being part of the FIFA World Cup – but they are part in spirit – through music, through dance, through art. That was the goal: have the audience light up their lights and sing the lyrics with me.” Describing her on stage experience, Nora added, “Whenever Light the Sky comes on, it gives me a sense of celebration. It’s such an impactful, positive energy, and yeah, it’s a good feeling. The emotions I was feeling on stage were just a mix of epic and surreal. I was so nervous, but at the same time, I felt a sense of gratitude when I saw all those people just come out for that moment.”
