Farah Khan recalls a friend’s ‘b****y’ comment on her wedding with 8-years-younger Shirish Kunder

Malaika Arora’s reality show ‘Moving in with Malaika’ saw the actress getting candid about her personal life. Also dropping truth bombs on the show was choreographer-cum-filmmaker Farah Khan.

On the show, Farah Khan addressed the bitter comments she faced when she married eight-years-younger Shirish Kunder. When Malaika Arora asked Farah, “You are also married to a younger man. You have faced your fair share of ‘what is she thinking?’ and that typical ‘older woman syndrome’” Farah recalled, “One friend of mine when I was getting married asked him, ‘Are you attending Farah’s wedding?’ He said, ‘No. But I’ll attend the second one’. As Malaika gasped about the statement, Farah quipoed, “I thought that was quite b****y.” Malaika Arora also opened up about the remarks she has faced for dating nearly 12-year-younger Arjun Kapoor. The actress shared, “It’s not been easy, and I face a lot of it on a daily basis, this old thing about older women. A man on the other hand, dating 20-year-old, 30-year-old woman is applauded. He’s made to feel that he is the king of the world…A lot of it I’ve also got from my own near and dear ones. Forget the outer circle because at the end of the day they are just privy to a ringside view.”

Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder tied the knot in December 2004. In 2008, the couple turned parents to triplets – Diva, Anya, and Czar.
