Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan says he wishes to explore his own qualities instead of following his late father’s footsteps

Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan is all set to make his big Bollywood debut with ‘Qala’, co-starring Tripti Dimri in the lead role.

The star son recently opened up about the pressures of following his late father’s footsteps. Babil revealed that two years ago when he started shooting for the film, he felt the pressure. However, now it motivates him to do better and work hard. According to him, the definition of pressure has changed for him.

When asked which qualities of his late father he would love to imbibe, Babil said that his father took his qualities with him and now he wishes to explore his qualities. The star son says he is attempting to chart out his own journey. The young lad added that he wishes to do all kinds of films and play all kinds of characters.

‘Qala’ also features Amit Sial and Varun Grover in key roles. Directed by Anvitaa Dutt, the film is set to release on an OTT platform on December 1, 2022.

Irrfan Khan left for his heavenly abode in April 2020 after a long battle with cancer. He was last seen in ‘Angrezi Medium’ which also starred Radhika Madan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in key roles.
