Last year, Deepika Padukone slayed the red carpet with her mesmerising looks at the Cannes Film Festival. She was a part of Cannes jury and attended several screenings, panel discussions, and parties as a part of her schedule. And this year, it looks like Anushka Sharma is going to make her Cannes debut.
According to the reports, Anushka along with Hollywood star Kate Winslet will honour women in cinema. Emmanuel Lenain, the French Ambassador to India, took to Twitter to share a picture with Virat Kohli and Anushka and wrote, “A pleasure meeting @imVkohli and @AnushkaSharma. I wished Virat & #TeamIndia all the best for the upcoming tournaments, and discussed Anushka’s trip to #CannesFilmFestival.”

On the work front, Anushka will be seen in her brother Karnesh Sharma’s produced film Chakda Xpress. She also has two more big Bollywood projects to release soon.
