Kuala Lumpur: Actor Soham Shah starrer 2018’s much-talked-about film ‘Tumbbad’ will be rereleased in theaters in India on September 13.
The makers of the film Tumbbad released a new poster and announced the re-release of ‘Tumbbad’. The film is set to hit theaters in India on September 13, 2024. The poster shows Vinayak Rao (character played by Sohum Shah) walking forward with his little son, holding a lantern in his hand, in a frightening night. Along with the poster, the makers have given the tagline, experience it in theaters on September 13, 2024.
‘Tumbbad’ received a lot of praise from the audience for its horror story set in a fictional mythological village. Rahi Anil Barve directs the film.

Tumbbad: A Kid-Friendly Summary of the Movie
“Tumbbad” is a story set in a small village called Tumbbad in India, where people believe in a hidden treasure and an ancient curse. The story revolves around a little boy named Vinayak, who grows up hearing stories about a forgotten goddess and her son, Hastar, a greedy and powerful demon who tried to steal all the gold from the gods.
Long ago, Hastar was punished for his greed and was cursed to live forever, but he was kept hidden in his mother’s womb, where he couldn’t harm anyone. However, a secret treasure full of gold coins was also hidden in the dark, dangerous mansion of Tumbbad, where Hastar sleeps.
As Vinayak grows older, he becomes curious about the treasure and decides to find it. He discovers that Hastar, the demon, wakes up when someone tries to steal the gold. But there’s a trick: Hastar can only attack if someone is afraid or greedy. So, to get the treasure, one must be very brave and not be greedy.
Vinayak makes many visits to the mansion to collect the gold, but he also faces great danger. Each time, he must be very careful and smart to avoid getting caught by Hastar. However, in the end, Vinayak realizes that being too greedy can be very dangerous.
