Inspector Pandey starts tracking down business tycoon Balbir Singh Bassi and his servant, Prem Singh, as the prime suspects. Throughout the movie, Pandey (played by Deepak Dobriyal) follows leads that eventually point to Bassi and Singh being responsible for the horrifying crimes happening in the area, with Bassi’s house being the place where the killings occurred.
However, just as Inspector Pandey is about to reveal the truth to the public, he is shockingly killed by one of Bassi’s henchmen. The evidence Pandey had gathered is destroyed, erasing any direct proof that could expose Bassi’s guilt. Despite this, Bassi and Singh are arrested, with the pair accused of murder, organ trafficking, and other horrific acts.
Bassi, using his wealth and influence, manages to evade serious punishment, while Singh faces the consequences for his part in the crimes.
In a surprising twist at the end, just when it seems Bassi might get away with his crimes, a mysterious package is delivered to Constable Bishnoi. Inside, he finds a copy of the evidence that Pandey had collected, leaving the audience with a bit of hope that justice might still be served, although the movie leaves this outcome open-ended.
Sector 36 offers a suspenseful story with a conclusion that allows viewers to interpret what might happen next, keeping them engaged even after the credits roll.
